Dean Wendle

Dean has been a member of the board of SOREDI since it originated and has served as both President and Secretary/Treasurer. He is a graduate of Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, WA, the University of Idaho and the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.

Dean served as an officer in the Navy on active duty at sea for four years in the Western Pacific and remained in the Navy Reserve until retiring with the rank of Captain.

Since leaving active duty, Dean has been in the commercial banking industry and arrived in beautiful Southern Oregon in 1981. He has been an elected member of the Rogue Community College Board for 18 years, and was appointed to the Oregon Student Assistance Commission in 2001. He is also a member of the Grants Pass Rotary.
