Southern Oregon Workforce Resources
For more than 10 years SOREDI has been a member of the local Business Resources Team (BRT) to help you achieve your workforce related goals. The BRT is comprised of 5 local agencies including The Job Council, the Oregon Employment Department, Southern Oregon University, Rogue Community College and SOREDI. The BRT can help you with recruitment, screening, specialized training, workplace readiness and specialized business services.
SOREDI shares office space and enjoys a highly collaborative relationship with the staff of The Job Council in Southern Oregon. A partial list of their services include:
- Oregon's PowerUp program, to identify and fill critical positions with pre-screened and motivated on-the-job training candidates who are currently underemployed
- Application/resume review and processing
- Recruitment and skills assesment
- Custom designed training programs
- Assistance with ADA and I-9 requirements
